Cremona, 1 October 2023 - Fabio Pecchia returned to Cremona for the first time in 513 days and saw victory with the Crociati, who won 2-1. Sohm thought he'd given Parma the lead in the fourth minute but it was chalked off for a marginal offside against Bernabé. But Parma kept at it and controlled the game, finally going in front in the 54th minute thanks to a brilliant effort from Hernani. Ten minutes later, Castagnetti brought the hosts level from a free-kick, which had taken a wicked deflection off Hernani. But the Crociati kept at it and, just two minutes later, Man restored the Gialloblù's lead. It had initially not been given but a VAR check confirmed what we had hoped: goal.
