Parma, 10 August 2023 – Prometeon Tyre Group believes in medium-to-long-term partnerships which is why they have confirmed their role as the main sponsor of Parma Calcio, The Prometeon brand has been on Parma’s jersey since August last year.

Once again for the 2023-24 season, Prometeon will be on the side of the Crociati in the Italian Serie B championship, which will begin on 18 August. First of all, though is the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa match on Saturday 12 August. The team will face Bari away at the Stadio San Nicola in a match to determine who progresses to the round of 32.

From a sporting point of view, the team very nearly gained promotion to Serie A, which remains the objective. Regarding the implementation of our projects, we have found a total collaboration which has allowed us to involve our employees first and foremost, but also our customers and representatives of the press in our industry in valuable activities. Football is a sport loved by millions of people and the visibility that this partnership gives us is strategic in Prometeon’s development.”

This partnership, therefore, represents a further opportunity to strengthen the Prometeon brand, not only because football is one of the most popular sports globally, but also because its values are the same as Prometeon’s: teamwork, passion, and the quest for results. During the last season, many initiatives were implemented by Prometeon: ‘Bimbi in campo’, aimed at employees’ children, media trips with print and television journalists, events for employees, as well as customer experiences.


The first Supertruck international convention was organised in Parma at the beginning of the Summer, with a focus on Parma Calcio and a dedicated programme. This saw dealers coming from nine different European countries.

A true full immersion into the world of Parma Calcio. In the 18 home matches alone, at the Stadio Tardini, we brought over 500 guests from the Italian market’.

Among this season’s novelties, Prometeon has become the Official Tyre Partner of Parma Calcio, putting the tyres on the coach that accompanies all the first team’s movements. This is similar to what has been done in the World Superbike Championship, where in parallel with sponsorship, the Group has begun to supply tyres to paddock vehicles, starting with the Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK Official Team’s truck.
