MATCH PACK | MATCHDAY 28: THE STATISTICS FROM PARMA VS. TORINO

Parma, 5 March 2025 - Torino will be our next opponents on Serie A Enilive 2024/25 matchday 28, on Saturday 8 March at Stadio Ennio Tardini in Parma (15:00 CET, live on TV through DAZN). Here are some statistics regarding previous meetings between the sides.


  • Ange-Yoan Bonny - currently on five goals this season - is one of just four players born after 1 January 2003 to have scored at least five goals during this Serie A campaign. The only French footballer, however, to have scored more than five goals before their 22nd birthday, was Paul Pogba, who scored his sixth goal on 29 September 2013, against Torino at the age of 20 years and 198 days.


  • Only AC Milan (70) have carried out more direct attacks than Parma (56) this season. Direct attacks are classed as sequences of play, that start in the team's own half, with at least 50% of the movement going forward, which finishes with either a touch or shot inside the area of the opposing team. Only Hellas Verona (3,396) have completed less vertical passes than Torino (3,490) this season.


  • After the home win against Bologna on 22 February (2-0 with goals from Bonny and Sohm), Parma have the chance to secure two consecutive wins in the top flight for the first time since January 2020 (2-0 against Lecce and Udinese in that case).


  • Torino are the slowest side when it comes to gaining ground during this Serie A campaign: the Granata advance at 1.54 metres per second. On the other hand, only Cagliari (2.03 m/s) advance more quickly than Parma (1.99 m/s) when in possession of the ball.

  • The next match will be the 36th meeting between Parma and Torino in the Serie A: the Gialloblù (15) have more than double of the games compared to the Piemontesi (seven), with 13 draws to complete the tally. In terms of the sides who have faced off more than 20 times in the top flight, the Granata are the side against whom the Gialloblù have the lowest loss percentage in the league (20%, worse than the 12% against Lecce).
