Parma vs. Pisa, decided by Delprato in the last minute, was watched by two truly special spectators: Suad and Milot. An eternity could pass from the yellow and blue of Sweden, their land of origin and where they live, to that of Parma, but not in this case.

Suad, father of little Milot, wanted to tell us the origin of his passion for our colours, punctuated by successes and some disappointments, but above all by a lot of faith.

THE FIRST TIME

“The first time I saw Parma play was 1995, when they faced Halmstad in the Cup Winners' Cup in Sweden. It was incredible, the first leg ended 3-0, then in the return game Parma won 4-0 at the Tardini. Those moments and that comeback were crucial in becoming attached to this team, which at the time was full of champions.'

THE GAMES AND THE CHAMPIONS

“I have a lot of good memories of the games I saw: Crespo's goal against Juventus (2000), the 4-0 comeback against Halmstad at home. Really many, I add Brolin too, a Swede who played here from 1990 to 1995. Instead, if I had to choose a player from the present, I would say Man: fast, technical, I like him a lot. But every time we are here in Parma it is special for us, given the distance we have to travel, it is the third time we’ve seen a home match, the last was Parma v AC Milan in 2019.'

THE PASSION OF LITTLE MILOT

“I would like – speaking about his son Milot – for him to have the same experiences and breathe the same passion for Parma as I did. Bringing him here to the Tardini is a way to convey to him the feelings I have. Then, if he doesn't become a Parma fan... he's no longer my son! Jokes aside, obviously he will be able to choose the team he wants even if Parma is definitely the best choice, in my opinion!'.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO BECOME A PARMA FAN?

“I believe that you cannot 'become' a Parma fan, you have to feel it inside, feel the passion. There are bigger teams than Parma, who win more. With this Club, there are good moments and bad times, but the important thing is to be there, always be there. It is a feeling of love that must be experienced at all times, as it is with one's children!'
