“We struggled with their physicality in the first half. We were slow to build up and tried to dribble too much in our own half. We had prepared a different game. Too many mistakes. We were better in the second half and created a few chances.

We also made too many errors in the second half though. We'll build on the second half; the spirit was there. We tried to get a point. Pellegrino came on and did well for a young guy in his second Serie A game.

We need to build on this and tidy our game up. We need to be more confident. We have some young guys in need of this kind of Serie A experience. We always need to keep working. They do so every day in training, but it can be hard in a game sometimes.

Parma in two months? We'll stick to our aim: stay in Serie A. We'll see how we do that. I will start with building confidence and belief that, despite our young squad, we can stay in this league because we have talented players.

Your level of play suffers when you're not confident and this is a tough period - it's not easy to react. We need points and to get out of this situation. After we do that, you'll see the talent these boys have.'
