100 APPEARANCES FOR ANGE-YOAN AND VALENTIN

Collecchio, 17 January 2025 – Big contributors to Parma’s promotion to Serie A, a huge affinity towards the Gialloblu colours and always ready to sacrifice themselves to help the team: Ange-Yoan Bonny and Valentin Mihaila reached 100 appearances for Parma against Genoa at the Ferraris and Roma at the Olimpico, respectively.

ANGE-YOAN BONNY

“Angelo”, who joined Parma aged just 17 from Châteauroux B, has become a key figure for Fabio Pecchia’s side. The Frenchman has now made 100 appearances since his arrival at the Club on 31 August 2021. In total, he’s started 54 matches, played 4588 minutes, scored 13 goals and provided nine assists. So far this campaign, Bonny has featured in all of Parma’s 20 Serie A fixtures (together with Botond Balogh and Simon Sohm). Constantly involved and a real threat in attack: Bonny has scored four goals, the same number as Dennis Man, and taken 42 shots, more than any other Gialloblu player. His physical prowess and technical quality make him a tough opponent to face: the Frenchman has been on the end of 27 fouls in 2024/25. Out of the Serie A players with at least four goals to their name, only Kenan Yildiz (born in 2005) and Santiago Castro (born in 2004) are younger than Bonny. Now, a new target is within reach: should he score or provide an assist next time out, he’d become the youngest player to have directly contributed to at least 20 goals across Serie A and Serie B in the last three seasons. Right now, his tally stands at 19 (ten goals and nine assists).

VALENTIN MIHAILA

Born in 2000, “Vale” joined Parma from Universitatea Craiova on 5 October 2020. After a period on loan at Atalanta in 2022, he returned to the Gialloblu on 30 June of the same year and started consolidating himself at the Club. Since his arrival in 2020, the Romanian has made 103 appearances, starting 60 matches. In total, he’s played 5284 minutes, scored 15 goals and provided ten assists. Out of those in the current squad, Mihaila is one of two players (the other is Dennis Man – 28 goals and 13 assists) to have reached double digits in terms of both goals and assists for Parma in all competitions. Despite the fact he’s had 25 shots, he’s yet to score this Serie A campaign, even if he’s provided three assists. Mihaila undoubtedly likes to get stuck in: together with Botond Balogh, he’s the Parma player who has won the most tackles in 2024/25.
