“I’m happy with the performance and the point won. Fiorentina are a strong team, it’s a new league for us and I’m happy to be here. I think this match could have been won but it’s okay: we’re already thinking about Parma vs. AC Milan. How was it to play in front of so many fans? It’s what you dream of as a child, this is a great atmosphere. I’m happy with my performance; I found out that I was playing at the last moment, I tried till the end and gave everything I could. We wanted to win, we missed lots of chances but we have to look at the positives as well. We had lots of chances and the quality to create them. I trust this group, we will improve on our shortcomings today. My assist? I play for the team and so if my teammate is in a better position than me, I make the pass. Coach Pecchia asked us to be more forward, nastier. The 5 goals and 10 assists I got last season? This year I want even more. I think we can do anything this season, we have a lot of talent and young players: we’re not setting any limits for ourselves and we will play every game like a final.”
