Robert Nestor Sensini

The first Italian team he played for was Udinese, who he then left to join Parma in November 1993. Just one of a number of Argentine players who played for the Crociati during those years, Sensini would go on to wear the Gialloblù colours for six seasons, becoming a key pillar of the team.

Sensini was a very versatile player with unique defensive traits. One of his best attributes was his reading of the play, ensuring he was able to get to the ball before his opponents.

Together with Buffon, Thuram and Fabio Cannavaro, a formidable defence was formed, allowing Sensini to win five trophies while at the Crociati: two Coppa Italia triumphs, two UEFA Cups and one UEFA Super Cup.
