Hernan Crespo

He learned his footballing trade in his home country of Argentina with River Plate, the club with which he won two Apertura championships and one Copa Libertadores. In 1996, he made the journey to Italy to join Parma. In his first four seasons with the Club, he won one UEFA Cup, one Supercoppa Italiana and one Coppa Italia in those crazy 100 days where Parma lifted three trophies in 1999.

He returned to the Gialloblù in 2010 before retiring in February 2012. Beloved by the fans, partly for that memorable goal against Juventus in 2000 with the Crociati down to nine men, he was voted as Parma’s Player of the Century in 2013.

He’s Parma’s all-time leading goalscorer with 94 goals in all competitions.
