Gianni Munari

Having grown up in the ranks of Sassuolo, his hometown team, he made his debut in the first team at just 18 years old. In the following years, he wore different jerseys in Serie B and Serie A, including that of Lecce for a remarkable 5 years. He arrived at Parma in the 2013-14 season and helped the team secure a sixth-place finish after an excellent campaign.

He returned to Parma in January 2017 when the team was in the Lega Pro championship. He then played a key role in the double promotion that brought Parma back to Serie A on the magical night in La Spezia. A versatile midfielder with innate physical abilities, he accumulated over 50 appearances in the Parma jersey.
