Diego Fuser

A product of Torino’s academy, he made his Serie A debut – at just 19 years of age – with the Granata. He then joined AC Milan, where he won the Scudetto, a European Cup, a European Supercup and an Intercontinental Cup. After a brief spell with Fiorentina, he spent six seasons with Lazio, where he became the club captain.

In the summer of 1998, he joined Parma. His first season with the Crociati ended with that incredible 100 day period, which saw the Club win three titles: the Coppa Italia, the UEFA Cup and the Supercoppa Italiana. Fuser, who started in all three finals, was a fundamental figure in Malesani’s midfield, thanks to his technical and athletic prowess, combined with a lethal long shot.

During his time with the Gialloblù, he became a regular feature for the Italy national team, making a total of 25 appearances and scoring three goals.
