Carlo Ancelotti

After developing as a player at Reggiolo, his hometown club, Ancelotti made his professional football debut with Parma in Serie C.

He played a key role in the Crociati’s promotion to Serie B in the 1978/79 season, scoring a brace in the playoff decider against Triestina. He then joined Roma and enjoyed incredible success with AC Milan before his retirement at just 33 years of age.

In his early days as a coach, Ancelotti took charge of Parma between 1996 and 1998. Over the course of his career, he’s won five Champions League titles – two as a player and three since he’s been in the dugout.
