Bruno Mora

Bruno Mora

Born in Parma, Bruno Mora made his Serie A debut with Sampdoria in 1957. During his career, he played for Juventus, where he became a Scudetto winner, and Milan, where he won another league title, the Coppa Italia, the European Cup Winners’ Cup and the European Cup.

On 29 November 1959, he made his international debut for Italy, becoming the first player from Parma to wear the Azzurri shirt. He also represented his country at the 1962 World Cup in Chile. A serious injury in 1964 disrupted an illustrious career and eventually resulted in him dropping down to Serie D a few years later. In the fourth division of Italian football, he wore the shirt of his home city, where he finished his playing career.
