Terni, 12 January 2025 – The top-of-the-table clash between Parma Women and Ternana Women in the women’s Serie B division finished in a 1-1 draw in front of 400 spectators at the Stadio Moreno Gubbiotti in Narni.
The first half was a balanced affair, with chances at both ends. Nichele and Rabot had long-range attempts for the Gialloblu, while Ternana looked a threat from set-pieces. And it was from such a situation that the hosts took the lead, with Ripamonte heading home just before half-time.
Parma took to the pitch in the second half determined to draw level. They did so after just two minutes through a bit of magic from Zhanna Ferrario, who let fly with an unstoppable right-footed strike from outside the box. Colantuono’s girls had the momentum and hit the bar through Kajzba, who, along with Nichele, also tested goalkeeper Ghioc. However, there were no further goals and the match finished 1-1.
Parma will return to action with a home match against Freedom on 18 January.
