Parma, 19 November 2024 - Parma Calcio has received a number of award at the 'Gran Galà del Calcio - Italian Football Awards'. Our Club received six awards, divided in terms of categories in reference to the 2023/24 season: Parma Calcio as Team of the year 2023/24, Alessandro Circati as Best Defender, Gianluca Di Chiara as the Best Left Back of the Top XI, Mamo Notari as the Best Head of Scouting, Fabrizio Cometti for Best Communication and Lorenzo Galletti and Alessandro Oliva as Best Digital and Social Media Team.
The event, created and produced by the Journalist and Project Manager Donato Alfani, took place for the 13th time on Monday 18 November at Villa Egidio in Borgo Grappa (Latina): numerous authorities and entities working in the footballing world were present. The prize as Team of the Year was conferred by the Head of Scouting Mamo Notari and by the Head of Communication Fabrizio Cometti, who received personal prizes for their areas of expertise.
Mamo Notari explained: 'We are awarding this prize which is the product of the work of the ownership and of a Club, of the technical staff and players. A piece of work that recognises the dedication of all of those that have worked and continue to work daily for Parma Calcio. They are also honoured through award of Best Scouting, because it demonstrates the intense personal work and contribution from everyone, with whom I fully share this recognition'.
Fabrizio Cometti was also on the stage with him: 'It's an award for everyone, it makes us productive to represent the Club at an event of such importance'.
The prestigious awards for players were conferred to Alessandro Circati (Best Defender) and Gianluca Di Chiara (Best Left Back Top XI).
