The friendly against Virtus Entella at the Mutti Training Center during the international break finished 1-0 to Parma thanks to a goal from Milan Djurić in the second half. Carlos Cuesta’s Gialloblu played at a good pace throughout the game. In the third minute, Benedyczak forced a save from Del Frate. Then came attempts from Sørensen in the 22nd minute (too close to the goalkeeper), Begić in the 29th minute (a shot across goal where Del Lungo’s dummy nearly deceived Del Frate), and Benedyczak again in the 45th minute with an attempt from inside the six-yard box.

In the second half, Cutrone got stuck into the action straight away. In the 53rd minute, he spun around in the box and saw his effort saved by the goalkeeper. Soon after, Løvik took a shot after combining with Estévez, but the ball went just wide of the far post. The winning goal came in the 68th minute: Cutrone hit the post with his attempt, but Milan Djurić was ready in the box and tapped the ball in with his left foot. The other players who were not selected for the match held a morning training session on pitch 1, with the exception of those on international duty and the injured Frigan and Ondrejka.
