Parma 20 October 2023 – On matchday ten in Serie B, Parma bounced back from their defeat in Venice to deservedly beat Como 2-1 in front of over 11,500 fans thanks to Man’s early opener and Charpentier’s second-half finish.
The Crociati, who controlled the match at the Tardini, took the lead through Man in the eighth minute after a lovely move that also involved Coulibaly and Benedyczak. The latter then had two attempts at goal, while Bernabé also tried to double Parma’s advantage. However, the second goal didn’t arrive until 15 minutes from time as Gabriel Charpentier, who had just entered the fray, finished off Hernani’s assist. Barba pulled one back for the visitors in stoppage time, but it wasn’t enough: Parma emerged victorious and can now start looking ahead to their trip to face Ascoli next Saturday.
