Noceto, 22 September 2024 – Parma Women continues their strong run in the league with another victory, this time defeating Vis Mediterranea 6-0. The Gialloblu dominated the match from start to finish, maintaining their perfect record at the top of the table after three games.
They opened the scoring on 15 minutes when captain for the day, Federica Rizza, in the absence of Ambrosi, netted her first goal in a Parma shirt. The goal came from a precise assist by left-back Laura Peruzzo, with Rizza finishing the move in the centre of the box. Parma quickly took control of the game, and in the 36th minute, they doubled their lead as Kajzba capitalised on a defensive error and scored confidently in front of the goalkeeper. Just before halftime, Distefano converted a penalty she earned herself, effectively sealing the match with a 3-0 scoreline at the break.
In the second half, Parma kept up the momentum, creating more chances. The substitutes made an immediate impact: Rognoni scored twice within twenty minutes before Mounecif added the final touch in the 83rd minute with a stunning long-range shot.
With this victory, Parma moved to the top of the table, tied on points with Ternana and Bologna. The Gialloblu will next face a challenging away match against Pavia Academy.
