Noceto, 15 February 2025 - Parma continue to fly at the top of the table with a big 5-0 win over Pavia Academy, dominating the entire game.
Colantuono had Rizza back whilst Rabot slotted into the fullback role to replace Peruzzo.
Parma started strong and almost took the lead through Ferin in the 23rd minute. The Gialloblu continued to dominate and opened the scoring through Ambrosini on the half-hour mark, making it 1-0 following a corner.
In the 40th minute, Ferin was taken down in the box and the ref pointed to the spot. Rognoni converted, redeeming herself after the missed penalty against Vis Mediterranea: the number 23 way icy cold to make it 2-0 for Parma.
At the end of the first half, Ferrario almost made it three with a powerful shot from distance that smacked the crossbar.
In the second half, Parma put the game to bed with Distefano, the star of the second 45. After just two minutes, the Gialloblu winger jumped the opposition defence to run into the box and get a shot away for 3-0. In the 65th minute, the number 17 went again with a similar move, this time finishing it off at the front post, bagging her brace and making it 4-0. In the final minutes, we had just enough time for Gaia Lonati to get her first Parma goal, heading home in the 72nd minute.
Pavia's only chance came in the final moments through Demaio who shot wide.
With this win, Parma answer to the Ternana win (2-1 over Brescia) and maintain their joint spot at the top of the table.
