Parma, 25 April 2026 – Parma defeated Pisa 1–0 and secured mathematical safety in the 2025/26 Serie A season. The Gialloblù will therefore continue to compete in Italy’s top division next year. The decisive moment came in the 82nd minute, when Nesta Elphege struck with a precise close-range finish, once again proving the difference-maker — just as he had done in the recent victory in Udine.
Earlier in the match it had been the visitors who came closest to scoring. Pisa struck the woodwork twice in the first half: first in the 29th minute through Akinsanmiro, and again just before the break when Stojiljković hit the post on the counterattack in the 45th minute. Despite those scares, Parma’s side — led by coach Carlos Cuesta — once again showed the unity and resilience that have characterised their season. The victory lifts the Gialloblù to 42 points in the table, confirming their place in Serie A with four games still to play.
Parma will now look to build further on a campaign marked by humility and courage since the opening fixture. Four matches remain — Inter, Roma, Como and Sassuolo — offering the opportunity to add further points and finish the season on a high.
