Parma, 6 September 2026 – Parma and Monza drew 1-1, with the Gialloblu coming from behind to collect their first point of the Serie A season. Lontani equalised in the second half after Robinson had opened the scoring (38’).

Corvi denied Dani Mota in the first half but could do nothing to keep out Robinson’s right-footed strike from distance. After the break, Lontani drew Parma level just a few minutes after coming on, guiding a right-footed finish into the bottom corner to Thiam’s left.

Parma’s next fixture will see them visit Como at 18:30 CEST on Monday 14 September on Matchday 4 of the Serie A Enilive season.

After the match, Carlos Cuesta said: “We struggled in the first half but performed better in the second. We took more risks to take the game in the direction we wanted. Our objective was to win, and we kept trying until the final whistle. Both teams had opportunities to take the lead. We need to accelerate our progress and become more competitive with every game.”

Emanuele Valeri added: “It’s an important point. We started well but then dropped a little deeper and conceded. We raised our level during the opening 20 to 25 minutes of the second half and found the equaliser. We can take heart from our second-half response. We’re on the right track and need to keep going. Our attitude was right in both halves, although when you expend so much energy, you can naturally pay for that effort towards the end.”
