Como, 14 September 2026 - Como secured a 2-1 win at the Sinigaglia. Ramon opened the scoring in the first half before Kaiki doubled the lead after the break. Lontani went close for the Gialloblu, while Romero pulled one back late on and also hit the post, but it was not enough to avoid defeat.

The hosts took the lead from a corner, with Nico Paz delivering to the far post for Ramon to turn the ball into the net. Late in the first half, Lontani came close to an equaliser with a header that just went over. Romero went even closer to making it 1-1 after the break, hitting the post with a deflection from Valeri's cross. Kaiki then doubled Como's lead, before Romero reduced the deficit with a diagonal finish in stoppage time.

The next game is on Sunday 20 September at 15.00 CEST, when Genoa visit the Tardini for Matchday 5 of Serie A.

“They were the better side for 30-35 minutes in the first half, while the game was much more balanced after the break and we had more chances.

We created more chances and had more shots than in our previous games, and doing that against an opponent of this level is not easy. It is certainly positive, even though it was not enough. We have to continue to work, try to do even more, and be more precise.”
