Noceto, 14 October 2025 – It was the perfect end to a great Sunday of football at the “Il Noce” Sports Centre. Following the First Team’s derby win over Sassuolo, Raffaele Paolicelli’s side made a dream start to their league campaign with a convincing 5-0 victory. Fresh from securing a spot in the Emilia Cup semi-finals last weekend, the Gialloblù showed the same character and quality in front of their home fans once again.
Just like in their last outing, the team started strong. After only four minutes, Claudia Morelli opened the scoring to make it 1-0. Despite creating several chances, Parma’s second goal arrived in the 29th minute through Ferrari, before Morelli struck again shortly after to complete her brace and send the team into the break 3-0 up.
In the second half, Parma managed the game with maturity, keeping the tempo high and adding two more goals through Giada Morelli and Strungaru to seal a commanding win. While set pieces had been key in their previous match, this time it was the team’s fluid attacking play that stood out – another sign of their growing confidence and cohesion.
Buoyed by this result, the Women’s Second Team now looks ahead to their next challenge: an away trip to Endas M. Monti on Sunday 19 October, with kick-off scheduled for 15:30. The Ravenna-based side comes into the fixture on the back of a 6-1 win away to Etica Ludis.
