PRIMAVERA 1: CESENA 0-0 PARMA

Cesena, 22 March 2026 – Parma and Cesena played out a 0-0 draw at the Romagna Centro Sports Centre, on the 12th round of the second half of the Campionato Primavera 1 season. The match opened with a lively and well-contested first half, played at a good tempo but without truly clear-cut chances.

Parma started with great intensity before gradually allowing the hosts into the match. The closing minutes of the first half, however, swung back in favour of Nicola Corrent's side. As mentioned, genuine opportunities were scarce: in the 24th minute Domeniconi tried his luck from the edge of the box but found Astaldi ready to intervene; two minutes later Cesena threatened again, with Tosku forcing the Gialloblu goalkeeper into a corner.

Parma created three promising opportunities: in the 29th minute Tigani, set up by Drobnic, fired over the bar; in the 41st minute Tigani again found Mikolajewski, who was unable to get a shot away and could only win a corner. In between, in the 38th minute, Cardinali controlled Mena Martínez’s cross, set himself and shot, narrowly missing the post. The opening forty-five minutes therefore reflected a largely balanced contest.

The second half followed a similar pattern, with the sides remaining evenly matched. Cardinali first, and then Galvagno, searched for the breakthrough without success, while only in the closing stages did Parma begin to consistently apply pressure around Cesena’s penalty area. It was not enough, however, to break the deadlock. Parma will return to action on Saturday 4 April with an away fixture against Cagliari Calcio.
