CREMONESE VS. PARMA: POST-MATCH STATS

Collecchio, 2 October 2023 –Here are the facts and figures you need to know following Parma’s 2-1 away victory over Cremonese

  • Parma won their first-ever match at the Stadio Zini in Serie B following ten matches without victory there (D3, L7).

  • Parma have picked up 20 points from their opening eight Serie B fixtures. Since 2000, only two teams have done better than this: Juventus in 2006/07 and Sassuolo in 2012/13 (22 points for both).

  • Parma have won four consecutive away matches in Serie B for the first time since they did so under Nevio Scala between March and May 1990.

  • Parma haven’t lost in 16 Serie B matches (W12, D4). Only once have they gone on a longer unbeaten run in the competition (20 matches, which they achieved over more than one season between 2009 and 2017).

  • Hernani scored his first goal from open play from outside the box in Serie B. Only one of his previous seven goals had arrived from distance, but this was a direct free-kick.

  • Dennis Man has scored twice in the two away matches he’s played this Serie B season (vs. Catanzaro and Cremonese). In general, the Romanian has netted 63.6% of his goals for Parma in Italy’s second tier on the road (seven out of eleven).

  • Simon Sohm has provided three assists in eight appearances this Serie B campaign, meaning he’s already equalled his tally from last season (in 27 matches). Only Como’s Alessio Iovine (four) has set up more goals than Sohm (three, the same as Lecco’s Lepore) so far.

  • Ange-Yoan Bonny has contributed to three goals in Parma’s last three away matches in Serie B (one goal and two assists).
