PARMA WELCOME GUEST OF HONOUR AT THE TARDINI: JAPAN'S AMBASSADOR MEETS SUZUKI

Parma, 27 April 2026 – A special guest was in attendance for Zion Suzuki and for Parma Calcio during the match against Pisa. The Club had the honour of hosting the Ambassador of Japan to Italy, Ms. Hakariko Ono at the Ennio Tardini Stadium. Also present were Mayor Michele Guerra, Prefect Antonio Lucio Garufi, Teatro Regio Superintendent Luciano Messi, and External Relations Director Dario Montrone.

Ms. Ono was welcomed at the Club museum, where floral arrangements and the Japanese goalkeeper’s shirt, later worn during the match, were on display. Under the eyes of the Ambassador, Zion Suzuki delivered a solid performance, capped by his second consecutive clean sheet. After the final whistle, the Parma goalkeeper spent a few moments in conversation with the diplomatic representative, who had already hosted the Club and Suzuki at her residence on March 2nd. That meeting celebrated Japanese talent in Serie A, with an exchange of shirts and the presentation of the “Nipponina” mascot marking 160 years of diplomatic relations.
