Noceto, 2 October 2026 – Head Coach Giovanni Valenti spoke ahead of the Serie A Women fixture between Parma and Ternana:

‘We’ve had another good week of work, the last one before the break, and we’ve trained hard. We can’t wait to play in front of our fans again: we’ve had a lot of away games at the start of the season and there’s great excitement about returning to the Noce. Ternana? It’s a rivalry that goes back to our days in Serie B, so it’s a game that means a lot to both teams. Beyond that, though, what matters most to us is the performance we put in and continuing our growth. Ternana are a team that always show great determination and plenty of competitive spirit, and they’ve also improved the quality of their play. We’ll need to approach the game in the right way, starting with our attitude. We gave seven players their Serie A debuts against Lazio and I’m very pleased with that. They also need to keep gaining confidence in their abilities and understand that they can perform well at this level. Coming so close to winning certainly gave us even more confidence and belief.’
