PARMA CALCIO WOMEN ARE BACK IN SERIE A!

Noceto, 19 April 2025 – Parma Calcio Women are officially back in Serie A. After their home win against Genoa on Matchday 26, Salvatore Colantuono's side have mathematically secured promotion to the top league, with four games to go until the end of Women's Serie B.

With 21 wins, four draws and only one loss in 26 games played, the Gialloblu dominated this season, with a 13 point gap between them and fourth-place Genoa. Thanks to this gap, and with three promotions guaranteed, Parma can celebrate returning to Serie A, after being relegated in the 2022/23 season.

Four games from the end, Parma Women's journey isn't over yet: the Gialloblu are concentrated on the title race, which Ternana are currently leading by two points. The title fight will go right until the end, with the goal being to end a fantastic year in the best way possible.

But it is time to celebrate in Noceto today: at the end of the game against Genoa, the players were all celebrating, wearing celebratory shirts with the quote chosen to represent this promotion: 'Why not?'.

'Why not?' is a message that was born from the Club's philosophy and the words of President Kyle J. Krause, who in 2022, when responding to a journalist on his motivation for acquiring Parma Calcio Women said 'Why not?'. The same message was repeated by Krause at the start of this season. It is a message that strongly supports the idea of believing in women's football and in the opportunities that should be considered as a true possibility, rather than anything extraordinary.
