PARMA CALCIO AND ”RAZZA UMANA”: AN EXPERIENCE BLENDING ART, IDENTITY AND COMMUNITY

Collecchio, 6 May, 2026 – It was an afternoon dedicated to culture, inclusion, and dialogue for a delegation from Parma Calcio, who visited the “Razza Umana” exhibition at Parco Nevicati in Collecchio.

The initiative, promoted by the Municipality of Collecchio alongside the photographic project “Razza Umana” by Oliviero Toscani’s studio, involved five Gialloblù players and players from different parts of the world - Abdoulaye Ndiaye, Kerlly Real, Oliver Sørensen, Zion Suzuki, and Annahita Zamanian - as a clear reflection of the club’s commitment to inclusion and multiculturalism.

Guided through the exhibition, the players took part in a journey of discovery and reflection, led by members of the local Youth Council. It was a moment of direct engagement with a project that invites visitors to appreciate the uniqueness of individual faces while also recognising the deep connections that unite humanity.

“Razza Umana”, created by Oliviero Toscani and developed by his studio, is a socio-political, cultural, and anthropological project that, through more than 100,000 images collected around the world, highlights the extraordinary diversity of human features, with the aim of promoting a simple message: there are no different races, only one - the human race.

After the visit, the players took part in a meet & greet, where fans had the opportunity to take photos and collect autographs on personalised cards.

The exhibition, free to visit every day from 07:00 to 20:00 until June 13, is set along an open-air path featuring three-metre-high tri-sided display panels placed in front of Villa Soragna.

Parma Calcio’s participation in the initiative underlines the club’s ongoing commitment to promoting values of inclusion, respect, and openness both on and off the pitch, actively contributing to cultural and social projects that foster dialogue and awareness.
