Parma, Wednesday 20 November 2025 – The press room at Stadio Tardini was packed on Saturday 15 November for a presentation announcing the partnership between Parma Calcio and FIGC SGS, which will work to strengthen collaboration with amateur clubs in the area and provide practical tools to support the growth of youth football.
This collaboration serves the local community, with the primary goal of maintaining constant contact with both affiliated and non-affiliated amateur clubs and all stakeholders in the football movement. The initiative promotes joint activities and a shared message centered on the young player and the educational value of sport.
The partnership aims to create functional synergies for the development of local football by organising joint events to convey a unified educational and sporting vision. It proposes activities focused on the technical, personal, and social development of young players, positioning itself as a point of reference on and off the pitch for clubs, athletes, and families, transferring professional-level experience to the amateur game while providing practical tools and insights for everyday application.
Mattia Notari, Head of the Youth Sector, shared his perspective, highlighting common needs, values, and challenges in both amateur and professional football. His talk drew on experiences within the Crociati club and throughout his sporting career, underlining how the two worlds share similar objectives and hurdles.
The session was moderated by Gianluca Baschieri, Head of Grassroots U9s-U14s, responsible for Parma’s grassroots activities. He explained the rationale behind the partnership, outlined the project’s objectives, and coordinated the numerous contributions from the audience.
The large turnout – a sold-out press room and an engaged audience – confirmed the local interest in dialogue and collaboration. The ideas and feedback gathered during the meeting will form the basis of a roundtable scheduled for the second half of the season.
The Tardini meeting represents just the first step in a broader programme. The next session is set for Friday 29 November at the Centro Sportivo Inzani in Parma, alongside the Entry Level course organised by the Federation – a new opportunity for on-field training and sharing, together with Parma Calcio’s grassroots staff.
