MATCH PACK, MATCHDAY 31: PARMA VS. CATANZARO

Parma, 27 March 2024 - Catanzaro will be Parma's opponent, set to take place on Monday 1 April at the stadio Ennio Tardini in Parma (15:00 CEST, live on Sky Sport, Dazn and Now) for matchday 31 in the Serie BKT. Here are some statistics and facts about the fixture.

  • Parma have won each of their last three matches against Catanzaro in Serie B, and have not conceded in the last two. The Bialloblu boast a longer open streak of consecutive victories in the competition only against Brescia, Cittadella and Foggia (four victories in a row against each).

  • Parma have won their last three league matches (against Ternana, Brescia and Feralpisalò) and could get four league win in a row in Serie B for the first time since 2017/18: four on that occasion when Roberto D'Aversa was in charge.

  • As of March 2023, Parma are one of three teams to have not yet lost any home match in Europe’s top-five leagues and their respective second divisions (such as Manchester City and Liverpool).

  • Catanzaro drew their last away match in Serie B (1-1 against Brescia) and could draw two games in a row away from home in the competition for the first time since the 2005/06 season: two on that occasion, against Albinoleffe and Mantova.

  • Parma have 65 points after 30 games in this year’s Serie B; in the three-points-for-a-win era (since 1994/95), only three teams have done better at this point of the season: Juventus in 2006/07 (68); Sassuolo in 2012/13 (67) and Benevento in 2019/20 (73) - all three then won matchday 31.

  • Parma have scored the most goals (15) by substitutes and from outside the area (ten, including the most recent) in the league; on the opposite front, Catanzaro lead the ball possession charts, with an average of 58.2% completed passes (13,181).

  • Out of forwards born from 2003 onwards, considering Europe’s top-five leagues and their respective second divisions, only Leicester’s Abdul Fatawu (ten) and Girona’s Sávio (seven) have provided more assists than Ange-Yoan Bonny (six).

  • Adrian Benedyczak has been involved in five goals (three goals and two assists) in the last seven Serie B games - in the same period, only Matteo Brunori (four goals, two assists) and Joel Pohjanpalo (nine goals) have done better - after not being involved in any goals in the previous eight matches in the competition. In the reverse fixture against Catanzaro, he scored his second, and last, brace in the current campaign.
