MATCH PACK, MATCHDAY 13: LECCO vs PARMA

Parma, 10 November 2023 - Lecco are the Crociati’s next opponent in the match on Sunday 12 November at Lecco’s Stadio Rigamonti Ceppi (16:15 CET, live on Sky Sport and Dazn) on Matchday 13 of the Serie BKT. Here are the statistics and precedents of the match:

  • Lecco and Parma face each other in Serie B for the first time in 21,357 days; that time, the Lombardy outfit drew 0-0 with Angelo Piccioli in charge on 23 May 1965.
  • Parma have won three of their last five Serie B matches against newly promoted teams (2D), as many as the Crociati managed in their previous 16 matches against newly promoted teams in the second division (5D, 8L)
  • Parma have never won in their six Serie B meetings away at Lecco: two draws and four defeats, including three defeats in the last three meetings; among teams currently in the league, against only Modena (12) and Palermo (14) have Parma played more away matches without every winning in the second division.
  • Parma have scored at least two goals in 10 of the 12 matches played this season: no team has a better record in Europe’s top five leagues and their respective second divisions in 2023/24.
  • Lecco are unbeaten in their last four league matches (2W, 2D). The last time they registered a longer unbeaten streak in Serie B came between May and June of 1973 (five in that case).
  • Parma have collected 29 points so far this season; in the three-points-per-victory era, of the five teams to have reached at least 29 points after 12 games, only Mantova (2005/06) didn’t achieve promotion to Serie A by the end of the season.
  • Parma have had goalscorers from the most number of nationalities so far this season in Serie B: nine. Anthony Partipilo is the only Italian to have hit the target for the Crociati (two goals).
  • Ange-Yoan Bonny has scored two goals this season, both from direct counter-attacks; only Miguel de la Fuente (three), Mohamed Salah (three) and Akor Adams (four) have more than Parma’s 20-year-old striker in Europe’s top five leagues and their respective second divisions. Furthermore, his next appearance will be the Frenchman’s 50th in Serie B.
