Lautaro Valenti: “The injury with Palermo was the darkest point of my career. I didn't know if I would be able to come back, but instead, thanks to the birth of my son, the strength of my wife and my family, and the great affection I felt around me from the Club and my teammates, I worked hard to be available to the coach and the technical staff. I was aware that it would take a long time and, even though I only played twice, I tried to be ready. But the best thing was being alongside the team, at all times, even when I knew I wouldn't be playing: cheering for the boys, supporting them from the sidelines, being in the changing room and encouraging them to give their best. We won together and this renewal is an act of trust on the part of the Club and the people of Parma who have shown me enormous affection. I truly thank everyone, starting with President Kyle J. Krause. Today, my biggest goal is to demonstrate to this big family that I am ready to give my all for them, in every moment, on and off the pitch, to stay in the top-flight that we earned after so much effort and sweat.'
Sporting Director Mauro Pederzoli: “Lautaro is a lad who suffered a serious injury. We knew that it would take time for him to align with the conditions of a team that, in the last campaign and partly in the previous one, was traveling at full speed. His commitment, his tenacity, his desire to stay in the group make him an exemplary professional. He has been here since 2020 and his growth has been seen by the fact that he was able to play with more continuity in the league, before the serious injury, and was a focal point of the team. We are happy to have extended this relationship, because we are convinced that Lautaro has yet to express the best of his professional and human abilities.'
