Parma, 14 August 2026 – Parma Calcio 1913 can announce the permanent signing of Jose David Romero, with the Argentine striker signing a contract with the Club until 30 June 2031.

Born in Corrientes, Argentina, in 2003, Romero came through the Talleres youth academy in Córdoba, joining the club in 2017 and making an impression from his early seasons before progressing into professional football. In 2024, he made his first move abroad, joining Unión La Calera in Chile, where he scored seven goals in 11 appearances. After returning to Argentina, he joined Tigre, where he displayed consistent form and established himself as one of the key figures in the team's attack.

Romero enjoyed a particularly impressive 2026 season, scoring 10 goals and providing two assists in 17 appearances across the Primera División and CONMEBOL Sudamericana. A quick forward, he is effective both when attacking space in behind and when operating in the final third.

His move to Parma marks Jose David Romero's first step into European football, following a period of development in Argentina and Chile.
