INTERNATIONAL AUTISM AWARENESS DAY, PARMA CALCIO CONTINUES THEIR COMMITMENT TO INCLUSION

Parma, 4 April 2025 - For “International Autism Awareness Day”, which is celebrated on 2 April, Parma Calcio are continuing their commitment to inclusion, with particular attention to children and babies. A responsibility that will develop both at the Ennio Tardini Stadium and in the region, where the Club will be a constant presence throughout the year.

The Gialloblu's efforts are summarised by the 'Always With Blue' project. It is an initiative whose name is based on the colour blue, the international symbol of autism, and it represents the spirit of solidarity and inclusiveness that characterises all of Parma Calcio's activities. Founded as an internal movement, 'Always With Blue' then became a not-for-profit organisation in 2023.

In April 2025, the Club will hold a series of initiatives to prove and strengthen their bond with the 'Always With Blue' movement. For the Serie A match, Parma vs. Inter, on Saturday 5 March and for Women's Serie B match, Parma vs. Genoa, on Saturday 19 April, the players will wear the Gialloblu's official second kit, 'the colours linked to autism', which will have the numbers in a particular texture and tone, decorated with hearts designed by boys and girls, including those from the association. The shirts will have the label 'Always With Blue' printed on, and after the games, they will be put up for sale on Parma Calcio's online charity shop, with the bidding dedicated to helping the association.

Furthermore, during half time of Parma vs. Inter, the children from 'Always With Blue' will go on to the field, wearing symbolically an inclusion and participation message. At the same time, Parma Calcio will award Francesco Mosca, the young Paralympic athlete from the Association, 'Il Faro 23', which originates in the region, after winning two medals in the International Special Winter Olympics

There will be around 70 people welcomed in the Petitot stand. They will be boys, girls, babies and families belonging to the project, and they have been invited to experience games in an inclusive and accessible way, along with all fans. To complete the initiatives, some children from the 'Albatros' project will be involved in the Hospitality at the stadium, alongside a therapist from the Autistic Children Foundation, to give them a great experience in active participation and responsibility.

Finally, for the women's game Parma vs. Genoa, the Club wanted to involve the primary schools of Noceto, Collecchio and Fornovo, by promoting an educational path dedicated to autism awareness and participation, with the objective of informing new generations of the importance of belonging, diversity and respect.

Through these initiatives, Parma Calcio prove their active and responsible role in transforming football into a way of talking, education and including people. It is a path that continues with passion and commitment, in the dream 'Always With Blue', as no one should be left behind.
