THE TARDINI REOPENS WITH A TRIBUTE TO CORRADO SANI

Parma, 23 August 2026 – Before the Tardini came back to life for another matchday, there was a moment to pause. Ahead of kick-off in Parma vs. Cagliari, Parma Calcio paid tribute to Corrado Sani, the Club’s long-serving Head of Ticketing, with a minute’s silence on the pitch. Club President Kyle J. Krause, CEO Federico Cherubini and Parma Calcio employees came together to honour Corrado and the many years he dedicated to the Club, with commitment, passion and hard work.

A moving tribute came before the Tardini once again came to life for matchday. Parma vs. Cagliari saw the return of many of the initiatives that bring matchday to life across the stadium and the Ernesto Ceresini Museum, from hospitality and culture to entertainment and moments shared with fans and guests.

The Museum Club Experience welcomed guests to the Ernesto Ceresini Museum, with an introduction from the Parma Museum Association and a contribution from Chef Nello Deriggi, Executive Chef at Bstrò, who oversaw the evening’s catering.

Before kick-off, Kyle J. Krause presented Cagliari President Tommaso Giulini with a bottle from Cantina Enrico Serafino, continuing a traditional gesture of hospitality ahead of Serie A fixtures. Among the guests at the Museum were Roberto Mancini, Leonardo Bonucci and Luigi De Siervo, CEO of Lega Serie A, who joined the Club’s guests for the pre-match proceedings.

The Tardini also welcomed families and younger fans back with the Kids Area, which opened an hour and a half before kick-off and offered dedicated activities in the area next to the East Stand.

The evening also saw the inauguration of the Polo Parma Lounge, attended by Michele Soavi, CEO and Co-Founder of Polo Parma, adding a new element to the Tardini’s hospitality offering.

At the Serafino Lounge, live music from Rumba Pesa accompanied the pre-match buffet dinner and half-time interval. Giulia Cattani of Cooperativa Albatros also supported the hospitality service, continuing Parma Calcio’s commitment to inclusion through its social responsibility strategy.

The day marked the return of matchday activities at the Tardini, with people, meetings and initiatives once again bringing Parma’s home to life. But above all, it began with a tribute and a shared thought: Corrado, whom Parma Calcio chose to remember alongside its community, in the place that was and will always be his home.
