Florence, 6 December 2023 - The Coppa Italia clash finished with a defeat on penalties after a game with Parma mostly in charge, capable of going 2-0 up in the first half and only being caught up in the 90th minute. In the first half there were 7 chances and 2 extraordinary goals. Adrian Bernabé bagged the opener after a passage of play that saw Cyprien have a go and Bonny hit the woodwork: the Spaniard's shot from the edge of the box was a football miracle. After just two minutes, Mihaila put Bonny through o n goal who doubled the lead. Other chances came for Benedyczak (10’), Mihaila (17’), Circati (40’) and then Mihaila and Bernabé in the same action (42’). After the break, having controlled the game for 37 minutes, Nzola pulled one back for the hosts before Sottil's penalty brought them level and sent the game to extra time. Still 2-2 after 120 minutes, the game went to penalties and Beltran converted to secure the Fiorentina win.
