Collecchio, 22 April 2025 - Today, the AFA (Asociación Fútbol Argentino) awarded Lautaro Valenti, Nahuel Estévez and Mateo Pellegrino for their work as 'Exemplary ambassadors of Argentine football around the world'.

The three players welcomed the Sporting Director of AFA Internacional Gustavo Grossi to Collecchio today. Grossi was accompanied by representatives from Colorno Calcio such as the President Davide Quarta and the General Director Stefano Chiesa, with whom the AFA Internacional have forged a strong partnership for the academy of Argentine youth football.

Nahuel Estévez commented on the award in the press room at the Mutti Training Centre, stating: 'I am very proud to have received this award', while Valenti commented: 'Being a representative of my country around the world is an honour'. Matteo Pellegrino, who arrived to the club at the end of January said: 'I've been here for a short while but this award will give me an extra push and boost to do well in the future'.

Gustavo Grossi also commented on the awards as he explained: 'The importance of the AFA Internacional having a headquarters in Parma lies in the fact of being close to the most important club in the province and one of the most important clubs in Italy. For us, it is really important because it is the dream of many young people. Once everything is ready in Colorno, Parma Calcio will be able to consider it as an option to evaluate players who want to become footballers. Parma have three Argentine's in their team, representing Parma and Argentine football, this is a big reference point for us'.
