Parma, 13 November 2023 - Eight Crociati players have been called up by their respective national teams in this November's international break. Players from the first team will be involved in friendlies, 2026 World Cup and Euro 2024 qualifiers, as well as the U20 tournament, “UNAF”.
Alessandro Circati (Australia)
World Cup 2026 qualification starts for Australia with the group stages: Alessandro Circati is part of the squad list for games against Bangladesh (16 November in Melbourne) and Palestine (21 November in Al Kuwait). Also in the group is Lebanon.
Botond Balogh (Hungary)
Hungary will be looking to extend their lead at the top of Group G for Euro 2024: Botond Balogh has been called up for games with Bulgaria (in Sofia on 16 November) and Montenegro (in Budapest on 19 November), two fixtures that could help the Crociati defender's national team to go further ahead of second-placed Serbia.
Gabriel Charpentier (Congo)
For the Crociati's Congolese striker, two opening 2026 World Cup group qualifiers await: placed in Group E (that also includes Morocco, Tanzania and Niger), Congo will take on Zambia (on the 17th in Ndola) and Eritrea (the 20th in Agadir). After two goals scored this season, Gabriel is back with the national side with the right hunger to undertake this road to the World Cup.
Valentin Mihaila (Romania)
Romania, top of group I in Euro 2024 qualifying, have two difficult tests: they will first play third-placed Israel (in Budapest on 18 November) and then at home, in Bucharest, on 21 November against second-placed Switzerland.
