“We tried every possible way to win and created plenty of chances, but when the ball just doesn’t want to go in, unfortunately, it doesn’t and that’s football. The only thing we can do is keep working with confidence and recharge our batteries for the next matches.

On a personal level, I’m feeling good. I had already played in the Women’s Cup against Juventus, so I knew what it meant to step onto the pitch at the Tardini in front of these fans. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to give them the win they deserved.

Within this group, everyone is important and we need to stay united, only then can we achieve the goals we’ve set for ourselves.”
