WOMEN'S COPPA ITALIA, SAN MARINO ACADEMY 0-3 PARMA

Acquaviva, 8 September 2024 – Parma Women defeat San Marino Academy 3-0 and qualify for the Coppa Italia last 16.

The match opened up in the ninth minute with a corner kick play that freed Peruzzo for the cross, and Cox, at the far post, headed in her first goal since returning to the yellow and blue jersey. Colantuono's team continued to push and doubled their lead in the 30th minute when Ferrario made a central run and fired a precise left-footed shot from inside the area, leaving Limardi with no chance. Parma played attractive football and delivered a convincing performance, though they were wasteful in front of goal, squandering several opportunities to add to their lead.

In the second half, at the 75th minute, the Gialloblu sealed the match with a great play by Distefano, who came on in the second half. The winger sprinted down the flank and delivered a perfect cross for Nina Kajzba, who simply had to push the ball into the net for her first goal with Parma.

A deserved victory that allows Parma to advance to the next round of the Coppa Italia, where they will face Inter Women.
