AUTISM AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AT NOCETO: WOMEN'S FIRST TEAM

Parma, 20 April 2024 - Autism awareness, one of the deepest commitments of Parma Calcio's social responsibility via actions of authentic inclusivity, will be at the centre of the Women's First team on the afternoon of Sunday 21 April. 'Always with blue', the campaign dedicated to the movement from the Club and now an ONLUS association that mainly aims to increase access to sports for autistic children and young people, will be at the centre of the afternoon at the Il Noce Sports Centre for the Women's Serie B match between Parma and Ravenna (14:00 CEST).

Parma Calcio will play in the blue third kit, colour linked with autism awareness, featuring an 'Always with blue' patch on the left sleeve and moreover, shirt numbers with the handprints of children from the association, created during an event with players Vivien Beil and Federica Rizza. These special shirts will then be up for an online charity auction on the CharityStars platform with the proceeds going to 'Always with blue'.

Always with Blue

Children and young people from the association will head out onto the pitch with the two sides and will support our girls from the stands alongside the other fans. At their side will be friends, family, and peers from nursery, primary and secondary schools of the Istituto Comprensivo ‘Rita Levi Montalcini’ in Noceto and the nurseries Riccò and Don Tarasconi in Fornovo.

In recent weeks, with their imagination and sensitivity, the students have created drawings based on inclusion that will be shown during the entrance to the pitch and put on display. Three classes from the Noceto primary school will create the soundscape, singing the Parma anthem 'Forza Parma, è il grido di battaglia” and the national anthem.

Fun activity from Parma Academy, on offer to the children and young people from the schools, with the score racked up will contribute to the 'football school' of our Club destined for 'Always with blue', whilst face painting will entertain them in the stands.

The day dedicated to autism awareness for the Parma Calcio Women's First team has also been made possible by the important commitment from the Noceto City Administration.
