A RECORD BREAKING SEASON FOR PARMA CALCIO

Parma, 22 June 2026 – The 2025/26 season delivered record-breaking numbers both on and off the pitch, confirming the continued growth of Parma Calcio’s global community and the Club’s ability to engage supporters and football fans around the world.

For the first time in its history, Parma Calcio surpassed three million followers across its official digital channels, marking a 7% increase compared to the previous season.

Throughout the campaign, the Club published more than 12,700 pieces of content, generating over 400 million impressions and views, reaching more than 266 million users, and surpassing 242 million video views.

These figures were supported by an extensive themed editorial strategy. Among the most popular content series were Parma Roots and Off The Pitch, which offered supporters a closer look at the personalities behind the gialloblu shirt. Through the stories of players from both the Men's and Women's First Teams, fans were able to discover the athletes' backgrounds, personal journeys and passions both on and off the field.

The season also saw the launch of One Planet. One Club, a campaign designed to showcase Parma Calcio's international and multicultural identity. Bringing together players from dozens of countries across all five continents, the initiative highlighted how a strong connection to local roots can coexist with an increasingly global outlook.

Particularly positive feedback was also generated by Gialloblu Youth Reporters, a project that introduced children and young people to the world of sports communication through meetings and interviews with Parma Calcio players and staff. The initiative provided participants with first-hand experience of life inside the Club, allowing them to step into the role of journalists and storytellers.

Editorial production remained a key focus throughout the season. The Club conducted 285 interviews with Men's First Team players, 129 interviews with Women's First Team players, and 77 interviews with the Men's Primavera squad, underlining the scale and consistency of its content output.

Among the stories that generated the greatest media attention were two significant examples of fair play and sporting integrity. The first involved Claudia Morelli, whose actions attracted widespread coverage across national and international media. During the decisive match for the Women's Second Team's league title, the Parma player deliberately missed a penalty after recognising that it had been awarded incorrectly by the referee. The second centred on Carlos Cuesta, who publicly stated after Parma's home match against Napoli that a potential penalty awarded to the Gialloblu should not have been given. Different moments, united by the same principles of honesty, fairness and respect, both episodes helped raise the profile of Parma Calcio while reinforcing the values the Club strives to promote every day, both on and off the pitch.

A season built on content, stories and relationships has continued to strengthen the bond between Parma Calcio and its community, carrying the Club's identity and values to an ever-wider audience around the world.
