Parma Calcio has been awarded as 'Athlete of the month for May 2024' for Parmense sport. The recognition, conferred by a distinguished panel of experts and collected at the Salone dei Convegni di Palazzo Soragna by Chief Operating Officer Stefano Perrone, was given for the achievement on the field: promotion to Serie A.

During the event, organised by the Panathlon Club Parma with the Unione Nazionale Veterani dello Sport and in collaboration with Gazzetta di Parma, numerous athletes were awarded for their efforts in bringing the name of Parma to a national and international level. The athletes included: Elsa Terranova (Padel), Alice Pellinghelli (Women's Football), Lorenzo Pani (Rugby), Alessia Gennari (Volleyball), Sara Fantini (Athletics, hammer throw), Pietro Sandei (Equestrian), 1949 Parma Baseball and ASD Parma Clima (Baseball), Kiara Fontanesi (Motocross), Tommaso Saccardi (Skiing) and Valdo Guimdo Tsafack Levivaldo (Basketball). Giulia Chiretti was named Athlete of the Year 2024 for her success at the Olympics in Paralympic Swimming.
