THE AWARD “MAURIZIO MAESTRELLI 2024” GOES TO FABIO PECCHIA

Fabio Pecchia will receive the Maurizio Maestrelli 2024 Award on Monday 13 May.


The Parma coach has been recognised with this award, not only for the results achieved on the field but also for what he has done off the field. This morning, the recipients of the 'Maurizio Maestrelli 2024' were officially announced by the organizing committee chaired by Giulio and Massimo Halasz. The award ceremony will take place on Monday 13 May at 18:30 CEST in the splendid setting of the renovated Gabriele D'Annunzio municipal theatre in Latina.

After ten years, the prestigious event returns to the city of Latina, awarded to 14 personalities who have distinguished themselves in their field not only for their achievements but also for their professionalism and Fair Play. Here is the list of recipients: Demetrio Albertini (president of the national technical sector), Fabio Pecchia (Parma Calcio coach), Saverio Sticchi Damiani (president of Lecce), Alberto Rimedio (Rai journalist), Francesco Farioli (Nizza coach), Cristiano Mozzillo (Inter general secretary), Vito Tisci (president of the youth and school sector of FIGC), Maria Sole Ferrieri Caputi (Serie A referee), Daniele Galloppa (Fiorentina Primavera coach), Pietro Accardi (Empoli sporting director), Stefano Palazzi (Pro League sports judge), Matias Soulè (Frosinone footballer), Lodovico Spinosi (FIFA agent), and Isabella Cardone (general manager of Ternana Women).

During the evening, hosted by Jacopo Volpi and Simona Rolandi, the 16 teams participating in the 16th Lazio Cup tournament will be announced, reserved for the Under 17 category, with Atletico Madrid as the defending champion.
