Two goals from Simone Lontani in the first half sealed the game. The first came from a corner, while the second came from a great run down the right from Touré, whose cross found the No. 76 at the far post to finish first time.

Parma’s next fixture is on Saturday 22 August at 20:45 CEST. Cagliari will visit the Tardini for the opening matchday of the 2026/27 Serie A Enilive season.

“Today we can take many positives from the game, but there are also several aspects we want to improve. There were several different phases to the game: we need to adjust certain aspects of our pressing and improve our ability to win the ball back. We are on a journey of growth, with many changes and new dynamics. We need to be ready to compete, and today’s victory certainly helps us.

El Bilal helped us a lot today. He is a player who will give us a great deal and is increasingly settling into our style of play. Konaté, Lontani and Diallo made their debuts. They are players who can help us and who are determined to fight for the team.

Bernabé is focused, experienced, knows Parma very well and has an important history with this Club. He is fully committed and has a great desire to help the team.
