Bologna, 4 December 2025 – Parma head coach Carlos Cuesta reflected on his team’s performance following their Coppa Italia Frecciarossa Round of 16 exit against Bologna.

“I was proud of the way we played for the full 95 minutes, but there were moments that changed the course of the match,” Cuesta said. “I’m disappointed with the result because we wanted to advance. I saw the players fully committed throughout. Now, we need to channel this energy positively ahead of our game against Pisa. Was this progress? I hope so. We put in a great performance – it’s not easy to come here and play like that. We must learn that when we get a chance, we can’t waste it, because it can make all the difference. We’ll keep working; that’s the only correct response. I feel very positive about Guaita, Cremaschi and Trabucchi, they all made strong debuts. I’m disappointed for them because they deserved a different outcome based on the performance they delivered on the pitch.”
