Felino, 20 May 2025 – In the prestigious location of Castello di Felino, the Women's First Team celebrated their return to Serie A alongside more than 250 people, including players, technical staff, directors, Club staff and fans. President Kyle J. Krause and CEO Federico Cherubini were also present and shared this important moment with the team.

A special evening to celebrate an historic achievement, a result of a standout season which ended with mathematical promotion with two games spare and a final tally of 24 wins from 30 matches. During the event, all players and members of the Staff received a celebratory medal, a symbol of the winning journey throughout the year. One other standout moment included Caterina Ambrosi being conferred with the award of player of the season.

The Head of Women’s Football, Domenico Aurelio, underlined the significant achievement thanks to the contribution of everyone:

«There are so many people to thank: the Coach who imposed his style of play on every pitch in Italy. The President, who had confidence in us even in difficult times. Finally, all of the girls, who gave me what I wanted more than anything else. This is the first step in a long competitive journey».

Coach Salvatore Colantuono then spoke:

«We've done it, we're in the Serie A. When I arrived, the director gave me a precise objective. We came really close last year, but we managed to do it this year. It's a source of great satisfaction».

At the end, Captain Caterina Ambrosi spoke to remember this campaign:

«At the end of last season, I made two promises to the President: bring the team back to Serie A and throw him into the air like the Men's Team did. We did that. It's been an intense year, a product of lots of work and sacrifice, but we managed to reach our objective».

The event organised by the Club was the perfect ending to a memorable year and reinforced the sense of belonging that accompanied the team's campaign for the entire season. A time for party which represented the beginning of a new chapter in the story of Italian Women's football.
