A YEAR OF GROWTH ON AND OFF THE PITCH: PARMA CALCIO’S 2025

Parma, 31 December 2025 – 2025 closes out a year of growth, achievements, and strategic planning for Parma Calcio. This year has seen development on several levels: sporting, social, local, and digital, involving teams, fans, and the community, while strengthening the Club’s identity: multicultural, modern, and rooted in values, with the aim of taking Parma and Parma Calcio global, strengthening the present foundations to build solid roots for future growth.

 

SPORTS

On the pitch, 2025 saw many significant accomplishments for Parma Calcio. The Men’s First Team secured survival in Serie A, reinforcing their presence in the top flight, where they remain the youngest squad in the league, with an average age of 24.26 years, the third youngest across Europe. The Women’s First Team were promoted to Serie A, a milestone reflecting the structural and strategic growth of the sector. In addition to these achievements was the promotion of the Men’s Under-20 team to the Primavera 1 championship and the creation of the Women’s Second Team, making Parma Calcio the only Club in Serie A Women to have a second team in an official competition. The year was also marked by a strong international presence among players, with 47 nationalities represented across five continents: 444 registered players in the male and female youth sectors, as well as the players of the two First Teams.

 

DIGITAL

2025 achieved record figures in the digital sphere. The Club’s official channels recorded 425 million views and engagement, with 255 million video views and over 13,800 pieces of content published over the year. The community surpassed 3 million followers, reflecting steady growth and an increasing international presence. The largest overseas audiences came from Brazil, Romania, Mexico, Argentina, the United Kingdom, and Indonesia. The most-watched content of the year was the pre-match video for Parma vs. Atalanta on 28 August, which generated 12 million views.

 

ESPORTS

In the digital sphere, Parma Calcio has once again demonstrated its leadership in Esports. With 117,000 followers across the main social platforms, the Club is Italy’s most-followed football club-affiliated Esports team, reflecting its connection with younger audiences.

 

WEBSITE

In 2025, the Club’s official website experienced substantial growth, bringing in around 900,000 users, an increase of 28% compared with 2024. This highlights the key role digital platforms play as a key source of information for fans and football enthusiasts.


 

PARTNERSHIP AND CORPORATE HOSPITALITY

2025 was a year of significant growth and development for Parma Calcio’s commercial sector, with a strong focus on creating value and delivering high-quality experiences and products. The year brought positive results across both Partnerships and Corporate Hospitality.


The Club recorded an average investment increase of 28% and an overall rise in Partnership revenues of 8%, highlighting the strength of the model in place. The addition of new national and international brands such as MOBY, Bud, and Much Better, combined with the strengthening of existing relationships, reflects an increased emphasis on the quality of Partnerships. This strategy is built on the development of bespoke projects, dedicated activities and events, alongside continuous measurement and monitoring of performance and outcomes.


Corporate Hospitality also saw growth, with revenues up 3%, supported by a substantial 35% increase in average revenue per seat. Existing hospitality areas were reorganised, improving services and optimising space, while new projects and premium branding, including the Enrico Serafino Lounge and BWT Lounge, were introduced.


Key innovations included the launch of the Museum Club Experience, showcasing top-quality local cuisine from culinary excellence such as Mutti, Parmigiano Reggiano, Antica Corte Pallavicina, Foodlab, and Bstrò, along with the participation of Club Legends in a unique setting. Additionally, the Directors’ Box was introduced, providing a dedicated area for sports industry professionals.

 

TICKETING

Fan turnout and engagement remained high all year. In 2025, Parma Calcio recorded a total attendance of 356,066, including Serie A matches and Coppa Italia fixtures against Pescara and Spezia, representing an 11% increase compared with 2024. Attendance for the Women’s First Team also grew significantly. At the “Noce” stadium, the average attendance rose from 249 spectators across 17 matches in 2024 (4,241 in total) to 449 across 12 matches in 2025 (5,388 in total), reflecting an incredible 80% increase.


 

MERCHANDISING

Merchandising continued to perform well. Official shirt sales rose by approximately 27% compared with the previous year, demonstrating the growing bond between the team and its fans. The best-selling shirt of 2025 was Mateo Pellegrino’s, reflecting the fans’ increasing connection with the players on the pitch.


 

COMMUNITY & LEGACY

Throughout 2025, Parma Calcio continued to invest in strengthening its identity. Initiatives such as Andiamo al Parma and Parma Legends helped to strengthen the emotional bond with fans and the wider community, uniting history, values, and a sense of belonging. The One Planet. One Club campaign, launched in December, aims to raise awareness of Parma and Parma Calcio worldwide, drawing on the multicultural nature of the Club’s sporting side. Parma sits at the heart of a diverse cultural crossroads, and through its players, the Club is able to showcase the city and the Parma Calcio brand internationally, while also deepening its connection with the global fanbase.


As part of this strategy, the Classe Gialloblu educational programme for the 2025/2026 academic year involved 9 schools, 29 classes and 637 pupils, up from 576 the previous year (10.6% increase), strengthening the relationship between the Club, local schools and young people. The Forma la tua passione initiative also continued, providing a memorable first day for 1,800 children in Year 1 from 23 schools and 89 classes across 12 municipalities in Parma and the surrounding province. Each child found a Gialloblù jersey on their desk, as a mark of belonging and passion, alongside a letter from Club President Kyle J. Krause, welcoming them and conveying the excitement of joining a wider community.


During the same year, the Parma Lands project also resumed, reaching its fourth edition. This itinerant initiative, strongly supported by the Club, aims to celebrate and strengthen the bond between the local territory and supporters throughout the province of Parma.


 

PARMA SPECIAL

2025 was a significant year for Parma Special, the team that embodies one of the Club’s pillars of sporting inclusion. With 32 registered players, the team took centre stage at the Stadio Ennio Tardini during the Tardini for Special event, which celebrates football as a tool for unity, solidarity, and inclusion. They also participated in over 30 national and international events, promoting the values of integration and participation wherever they went.

 

CSR & PLAYGREEN

The Club continued its strong commitment to social responsibility throughout 2025. More than 70 CSR and charity initiatives were carried out, focusing on environmental and human rights issues, including renewable energy, the circular economy, waste reduction, inclusion, poverty alleviation, health, and well-being. Over 10,000 children and young people under the age of 15 took part, strengthening both community engagement and social responsibility.


Operationally, 2025 was also an important year. Six months after obtaining ISO 14001 certification for environmental protection through the PlayGreen project, the Club achieved ISO 45001 certification, an international standard for safeguarding the health and safety of workers. Sustainability initiatives were translated into tangible action: around 200 kg of waste was separated per match, with over 60% recycled, and 40 kg of food recovered per game, contributing to innovative projects such as bibliotherapy, benefiting the wider Parma Calcio community.




ACADEMY

Projects aimed at young people continued to grow in 2025. The Progetto Plus welcomed 21 Italian and international clubs to the Stadio Ennio Tardini on matchdays, involving approximately 900 young athletes. Meanwhile, the regional programme Parma e Provincia saw 2,800 registered youth players, from five recognised football schools, six training centres and 14 local affiliates, further reinforcing the Club’s presence across the region.


The Parma Calcio Academy’s regional affiliation programme for this season involves 47 clubs across the province of Parma and neighbouring areas, including Reggio Emilia, Piacenza, Massa, La Spezia, and Mantua. The initiative is designed to strengthen the relationship of trust between Parma Calcio and local clubs, support the technical and organisational development of affiliated clubs, and provide ongoing monitoring of promising young players for selective activities. In addition, 28 affiliated clubs outside the local area are involved. The programme aims to foster structured youth development projects for both boys and girls, support the growth of partner clubs, and promote a shared approach to youth progression and sports management.
