Parma, 25 February, 2026 - Parma Calcio 1913 continues to shape the direction of its global mission. As part of the One Planet, One Club project, the Club presents Parma Roots, a new series of special interviews produced in collaboration with partner Prometeon and Gazzetta di Parma. The initiative celebrates the Club’s international identity through a journey across all five continents.

Parma Roots is not just a sports feature, but an anthropological exploration spanning the globe through the eyes, memories, and voices of the gialloblu players. The project transforms the pitch into a meeting point between cultures, positioning Parma Calcio as a truly international family built on three fundamental pillars: identity, unity, and inclusivity.

A JOURNEY WITHOUT BORDERS

From Oceania to Asia, passing through Africa and the Americas, each episode delves into the protagonists’ past to rediscover the roots that brought them to Parma, where they have now put down roots of their own. The format offers an intimate and original glimpse into the players’ family lives, showing how multiculturalism and a strong bond with the Parma region fuel the Club’s collective strength..

THE STARTING POINT: GRASSOBBIO, HOME OF THE CAPTAIN

The journey of “Parma Roots” begins today, returning to where it all started for the team’s leader: Enrico Delprato. The first episode takes us to Grassobbio, just outside Bergamo, as we step into the Captain’s home and personal story. It is a story that reflects the simplicity and values of a family that believed in education and hard worK and a tribute to Italian roots that welcome and embrace cultures from around the world, symbolising the unbreakable bond between local heritage and the Club’s global vision.

The series will be available on the official channels of Parma Calcio 1913 and across its social media platforms, offering fans exclusive content, family stories and never-before-seen photos from the lives of their favourite players. The first episode of “Parma Roots,” featuring Enrico Delprato, will air on Thursday 26 February at 20:10 CET on 12 TV Parma.
